Ajout Utilities UExplorer
Citation:
Initially, you have to activate UExplorer via the mod menu. If, for some reason,
you are not satisfied with UExplorer, you can later deactivate it in the same
manner (and please, if you are not satisfied, let me know why).
Once actviated, you will notice a few subtle changes to the Unreal Tournament
UWindows user interface.
First, there will be an Address Bar under the Menu Bar, similar to that of
most popular web browsers (Internet Explorer and Navigator come to mind). No
longer do you have to go the Menu Bar and select Multiplayer->Open Location
to enter a URL. Simply enter it into the address bar and click the "Go" button.
And, yes, it does save a history! The Address Bar also has a Last Recently Used
(LRU) algorithm to select the last address you used, assuming that it is the
address you will most likely use to connect the next time.
Second, you will also notice some additions to the current Menu Bar for added
functionality. Under the Options menu, you will see an option to show or hide
the Address Bar, as well as an easy way to access the Advanced Options (formerly
accessible only by typing "Preferences" at the Console).
Third, you will notice a new background image, showing the Unreal Tournament U
over a black background.
Fourth, you will have new GUI Skins to choose from. Under the Preferences Menu,
on the Video Tab, there is a combo box labeled "GUI Skin." In addition to the
three default GUI Skins, you will have eleven more to choose from! Pick one that
suits your liking, and enjoy!
Last, there is a new UWindows component for developers to subclass:
UWindowDialogClientControlBar. While primitive, this new component allows for
control bars that look like menubars but behave like dialogs.
